I make my money through teaching but teaching and not performing is killing my soul. As much as I love giving, I can’t afford to be doing it all my life at this extreme. I need to perform, I need to dance full out before my body can’t do it anymore. I loose my athleticism from teaching because it’s draining doing the same movements over and over! I could be 10 times more amazing!

If dancers were paid like Lawyers and Doctors…..Wow Imagine the arts level in Australia??

We are doctors of our own kind, with more then 4-8 years training at Uni and we get paid just $10,000 a year to actually entertain(the best part) and to earn that we are entertaining the Lawyers/ Doctors child to keep them from seeing the Doctor or Lawyer. We can’t get loans because we are self employed and don’t have full time job’s because there isn’t enough job’s? When in fact we are working full time just not being payed on someone’s pay roll(”Lamb’s over looked my shoulder and added”).

I feel it’s because of this tall poppy disease running around in Australia?
I feel the stereo type footballer Australian hating on me because I dance (”your a poofter if you dance”…..?). But aren’t they the one’s running around in hot pants tackling other men? I’m the one dancing with the ladies everyday of my life rocking out top moves and have pashed some of the hottest women I have ever seen? Including my adorable princess Nicole Lamb that I’m with now struggling to travel to the next destination to inspire youth to grow and not think like the stereo typed Aussy! We are Aussy, we love to dance and we are the future to having a free mind and doing what you love!

Now if it were supported more in Australia we would have a healthier country and open country and a country full of happiness! movement Creates happiness!!!

MTV, SONY, Aria Awards ect I get offered gig’s from you to make other artists like Britney Spears, Fergie and Dizzy Rascal to name few look good and yet I’m offered to do it for free? I love what I do! This is all I do, this is all i know! I love it alright! But if you want me to make your artists look good, look after us and we will rock that gig more then you will ever know. So they turn us down because we ask to get paid more then $0-$250.00 for over 20 hours of rehearsal and rocking a performance of the artist they are making money out of? Then you know what they do is get the other dancers that are up and coming and are frothing to get that spot to put on their CV!
This is not how it should be! I just choreographed a major Australian artists last film clip, where not much dancing was used. BUT not one of the extra’s were paid! This happens to professional dancers in film clips, It’s an “experience”. This was an experience most of those people will never do again, for all the hours getting bossed around and treated like shit. I’m heated about this as a new generation child coming up as a major artist for this country! I could have left off to USA and stayed an had a great career, but I’m choosing to stay and support and make Australia grow in the arts! Our new generation here is really full of talent, your sons, daughters, little cousins, nephew’s and nieces could be a real star and your stopping them due to your opinion or the governments?

Motion Poets are a combination of Dancers that love to play live music and show off their styles at the same time!

The artists are well-known around Australia and well respected brought together through Myself & Bboy Yogi from Skill@Will (Brad Harrison/ Drummer/ Break dancer). We rehearsed 4 days prior to a gig called Locally M.A.D.E in Bellingen NSW and rocked the house! Then weeks down the track got together over two days to make the demo. Only one song was written as a group and it took one hour in the short time we had anyways and that was the song “Home” feat. Hannah day. I just brought us together with some set songs I wrote years ago to get the ball rolling. We want to play music that crosses all genre’s and not to be put in a box! We want to make people dance! We want to make people laugh! and we want them to be entertained by our talented dancing and fresh new music on the way. We love Hip Hop, Dub step, Glitch hop, Rappin blues, Jazz, Funk and classical! Yew
We are available to gig NOW! appropriate for any function! We can make it suit TRUST ME!

We would like to thank Jester Kerr Wearne for getting together with us to record this demo for a couple of cartons. Jester did all the keys, Bass, Home Riff, special sounds and feeds from the Bello Garden. We would alos like to thnk his family for putting up with us moving in!

This was the song written in 1 hour featuring the beautiful artist Hannah Day singing over her man Jesters Riff. A song about HOME.

This Song was written for my pops funeral celebrating his life and hat a champion he was! Len “Snowy” Chambers. After playing this with Drummer “Yogi” he helped bring in a real rocky Sublime Influence from what it was. Yew!

What a phenomenal 26th birthday week!!!

So much went on!

From Hanging with Imanuels awesome dad! to the TRAMB WAGON Workshops Aussy Adventure hitting Darwin and Katherine. To seeing the D City Rockers, Nick Power and the Tracks crew perform their new show. The Cook, the Queen and the Kelly! Wow what a show and Nick “Ned Kelly” Power keep the beard!

To seeing the inspired Swan Lake, indigenous, puppets, contemporary piece “On Goose Lagoon”. Brilliant ethnic earthy piece and would love to see it at Utopian Dream (Coffs Harbours International Celebration of Dance! www.utopiandream.com.au).

I got to party with good friends & off the chain film and photography creators Jamie Snowden & Polly Armstrong. Experiencing on my birthday “Mumma Kin” live and then the Cat Empire! After the show we the crew in the photo as well as Josh Mu(Professional Australian Dancer) Harry(Cat Empire) and Magna the funniest female Aussy Comedian all sung me Happy Birthday as I put on my Birthday badge sent from USA Disney Land from my Sister Ashleigh Ross!

We then went and watched “OUR GENERATION” in the out door Deck Chair theatre in Darwin. What a film directed and written by Damien and Simen in the photo. This movie changed my life as John Butler, Polly & Jamie said it would! It needs to be seen by every human being on this planet! Go Janinni! What an Aboriginal elder ready for positive change in this crewel world!

Then to the road trip down to Tennant Creek! for another dream experience!

Danced on stage with them in Coffs Harbour Plantation Hotel after they rocked my event called “BATTLE SKOOL” in 2006 or 7 I forget haha.

After that we worked on the music for a hard core routine for SYTYCD which went…..ok haha but was a fun time having dancers from different genre’s explore my style.

Since then we have stayed in touch through a few show’s (1 being in L.A with Swollen Members), parties and other music experiments!

These fellas are great friends to have and inspiration to my entertainment career!

Was a fun piece to work on, not much dance but fun getting the “MUTURE ADULTS” to Tread the boards.

Also worked on the two oldies getting there sexy on before the wicked “Kiss”.

Was nice having fellow dancers Sister Sammy ross, Jordan Hill, Emily McCarthy, Kieran Crowe, Patrick Kuo and my lovely lil Lamb to work with

Hullabaloo: The Celebration of Entertainment and Dance!! A Rowdy night where the talent lets loose to perform what they have learnt from International/ National Artists and choreographers. Followed by a Loose after party with drumming and DJ’s and a Special guest artist announced Nov 1!
